Summary Plan Description Contributions To The Pension Plan Your Employer pays all contributions required to be made to the Plan on your behalf. No voluntary or self-contributions are permitted to be made by you to the Plan. The Trustees have instituted a voluntary employee contribution program. Click here for details of the program. The amount of contributions made by the Employer is determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement between your Union and your Employer, or, in certain cases by the Participation Agreement between your Employer and the Plan. The amount of contributions made by your Employer determines the amount of the benefit you may be eligible to receive from the Plan. The amount of benefit you may receive is actuarially determined based on the amount of contributions made on your behalf. A sample of the Contribution Rate Schedules paid by the Contributing Employers is listed on Tables 1 through 6. If your Contribution Rate Schedule is not listed on the Tables, the Fund Office will provide you with your Contribution Rate Schedule upon written request. The contributions are paid by your Employer directly to a trust fund maintained by the Board of Trustees pursuant to the provisions of the Plan's Agreement And Declaration Of Trust. The contributions are then invested by the Plan's Investment Managers in accordance with the Board of Trustees' investment policies and the applicable laws.
